One of the beauties of baseball is that it spans 162 games during the season. Additionally, there’s Spring Training and hopefully the post season. And, if that isn’t enough, there’s the entire Hot Stove season to keep fans going.

Where would baseball fans be without all the stories to help us through it all?

Guiding fans through it all are the members of the media who bring us the daily stories. They are the ones who watch it all and help us make sense of it. They’re the ones with the insights and creativity to help us understand a 1-0 game in August.

At AngelsWin.com, we believe that we have some of the best reporters and media members in the game. We know how hard they work behind the scenes to bring us baseball throughout the year. As fans, we very much appreciate their efforts. That is why we were so pleased to add a special segment with them in our Spring Training Fanfest last year.

In doing a Round Table with the Media, we wanted to continue to get to know them as people—what are their passions and quirks. Of course we asked them about the Angels, but first we wanted to know about their background and thoughts on sports in general.

Attending the AngelsWin.com Spring Training Fanfest 2014 Round Table with the Media were (in alphabetical order):

Mike DiGiovanna, Los Angeles Times
Jeff Fletcher, Orange County Register
José Mota, Fox Sports West/Prime Ticket
Terry Smith, AM 830, KLAA

We all know them from their coverage of the team. Click below to watch our Round Table with them to get to know them better as people.

Love to hear what you think!
